You boys are hard work today. This is definitely my last time posting a will win message. I've been told today from numerous people raft they 'don't fancy it', 'its against the stats' or they'd back it anyway. It won't open 11/4 either.

I give up.

Not doubting you at all Slim . No reason to after all the previous posts. Let's just sit back and let George bring home the bacon.

Doubt...... Are you kidding? Where do you think I've been the past 2 hours?!?
Backing the aeroplane everywhere I could.... Spreading it around!

Almost all the Moore winning re-invested!

Didn't see it but RP text commentary said he was 'Slightly Hampered' final furlong... were we unlucky?

The only 1yo in the field. Just wait until he's 2yo.

Now Say Boooom

Has Gigs bought a horse with his stash ??

Same as that Digger, told a few, but they were the same few i gave Dancing Zafeen to last Friday night at 9/4, so they know not to complain!

Thems the breaks.......

Hopefully Clara McCloud in the 4:55 Ayr will retrieve some of it....

I'll get over the €450 I had on but I hate others losing money. That's why I'm quitting.

Everyone is a grown up slim, you don't put a gun to our heads. So don't quit, quite enjoy the thread.

Reminds me of a mutual friend, knows nothing about racing and always used to tag along for one of the days at the Festival and would whinge if a horse we fancied got beat as he put some money on it (Max a fiver!!!). Usual shite like 'thanks for the tip lads etc'
He was really starting to grate with all of us until we told him Cue Card had an each way chance in the bumper.
So off he goes to the tote, we all go mental watching the race roaring it home and filling our boots.
The dozey fecker didn't back it as he didn't want to break into a £20 note.
Paid £80 for the win I think.

That was the last time we invited him!

I don't bet and my other half gave me £2 to put on a horse for her  which I forgot all about until she rang me to see if I'd done a horse . As it was the last race and they were nearly off I ran to a Tote outlet and put £2 on Cue Card as it had been mentioned favourably at the Cheltenham Preview on the Sunday. I was the dog's b*ll*cks after that for ages

We've all been there.

When I started working I used to pass on the odd top-rated to a colleague. You know how it goes: 14/1 winner (sp 7/1), followed by 5/1 winner, followed by 33/1 ew 3rd, followed by 4/1 winner. Then I give him two losers in succession. You're a useless cnut, he says and tells everyone within earshot the same. I never gave him another.

The year Rooster Booster won the Champion, I'd been telling the guy I car-shared with about it from the day it beat Mr Cool at Kempton. He wasn't a racing fan in any shape or form but a couple of other racing fans on the staff latched on to it too he asked me to put £20 on it for him.

When I gave him his winnings he didn't even say thanks, just snatched the money off me. Never again...
