Therein lies the problem in peoples logic...e.g. if Flemenstar is a 'speed horse' why do you think he should run in the Gold Cup?

I don't think anyone really knows a fecking thing, usually fingers get burnt on such occasions.

Have you seen Flemnstar jump a fence?

Why shouldn't he run in the Gold cup?

The fact that you think Quito can do any of these for toe on Sunday makes me think you haven't seen him in action and are reading just formlines

I couldn't care what you or most others on this forum think.

Yeah I saw Quito pick up Sizing Europe on soft ground over 3M, a horse I respect who is fancied in the KG.

The ground thing was well overplayed that day, they pulled miles clear of the third, it was good form, Sizing was second the year before in the same race to Kauto on soft. Would he have beaten Kauto on good ground the same way everyone says he would have beaten Quito?

Quito will appreciate the gallop they'll go and as three miles is obviously not his thing now, it makes sense to have a go here.

Unless you think the horse is a complete dog I don't see why you and others would make such sweeping statments about him.

I saw Flemenstars last run and couldn't have been more impressed, he may win but as I said I'll be doing Quito e/w thankyou very much.

Anyway, no hard feelings.:)

Yeah it is definatley a forum. You're right on that.

If Quito wins you'll pack in racing. Great opinion to have. For once I actually hope someone eats their words...

The 'irish' contingent start to talk amongst themselves lol.

That's a bit harsh Marble from what I've just read, there was some good constructive criticism in there.

Besides if the Irish didn't talk amongst theirselves they would be just as happy talking to themselves and still get a different opinion

Well good luck to you i dont think youre looking at it objectively, moreover you're getting carried away. Lets see how Flemenstar wins then get carried away.
if you want a value bet away from the two young pretenders then rubi light is the obvious pick. not quito de la slow.

It's easy to bash QDLR but Synchronised had a much slower profile this time last year.
and?

you saying synchronised would beat flemenstar, rubi light & sir des champs over 2m4f?

the only angle i guess i could see for qdlr is the heavy ground might turn it into a bit of a slog.

I thought I was looking at the final decs when i looked yesterday for some reason.

Coulda saved a hellavu a lot of waffle on my behalf.:)

Thats racing...

It's always been a good race in fairness but the Florida Pearl win was pretty super.
