Busted have split after rattling out a string of top five singles since bursting on to the music scene in 2002.

Blond singer Charlie Simpson told his fans "I have quit Busted" - but added that it had been an amazing three years.

The 19-year-old said he wanted to devote his energies to his new rock group, Fightstar.
 
This is surely a good day for music as they were shit and never actually played their instruments live what a joke of a so called guitar band :lol:
I did see Charlie in last weeks Kerrang with his new band so i suppose he is trying to take music seriously now :P
 
Huh? I've only just caught up with Outkast (and found I'm SO tone-deaf I can't even singalonga Heyaa) - who is/was Busted?
 
Fightstar are a very good group.

Actually - when I saw the title I though nightsticks had been banned from racecourses.
 
Fightstar are rubbish, rock music is more in now then anything else but they will still have no chance of suceeding anyway. I went to Busted's last concert on December 18th with my friend as she had tickets and wanted 2 take me :D :D
I never liked Busted, thought they were a stupid pop rock band but when I saw them live, they were really good and now I love them! I can't believe they split h:) I really enjoyed their concert and I am being serious and 'm into hip hop and some rock!!

Come back Busted! :)
 
Colin - what, my being unable to hold ANY kind of tune, or Busted being busted? :D I think I was the only kid shoved into the descant section of the school assembly choir on the grounds that my out-of-tuneness wouldn't show up so badly there! (Talk about crushed and humiliated.) :shy:
 
She did - the reason I posted it was because she lauded them last year.

Then again she could always have forgotten them poor love

I haven't made the booking though
Because it's rather tricky
You see they didn't let me know
