Ducked right after leaving the stalls, and took a keen hold when slightly disappointing on his only outing at two, finishing three and a half lengths fourth of nine behind Royal Alliance at Newcastle over seven furlongs. It looked a fair contest, and a few future winners are likely to emerge from the race, L’Karama hopefully being one of them. His dam has already produced four winning offspring from five so far, over a variety of distances ranging from a mile – right up to just shy of two miles, L’Karama himself should require a minimum trip of a mile at three and shouldn’t be inconvenienced by a couple of furlongs further.
