The economics of racehorse ownership are further stretched in a recession. Dundalk tonight could barely get enough decs to divide one race when they hoped for two divisions. Wednesday nights entry is pretty poor as well. A sign of the times I'm afraid folks...

Poor planning from trainers imo. The Amlin should have had:

Cue Card - better off at Ascot than Haydock
Finian's Rainbow and Champion Court - neither had much chance in the PP.
