Leopardstown Sunday

I'd prefer to back the Burns horse in that Bobbyjo. One Gigginstown horse that I like the look of as well, particularly over fences, is Scavenger, trained by Mouse Morris.

Tremendous card tomorrow. I don't **** around with Irish Novice hurdles but they'll be interesting nevertheless. I like Blood Crazed Tiger a lot but the trip tomorrow is too short and he's one for next year.

I really don't want Sizing John anywhere near the Irish Gold Cup and to be honest with Fox Norton looking like he needs a step up in trip I now fear that anything that resembles a good run will see him in the blue ribband at Cheltenham. I'm on any tomorrow for compensation sakes.

The PJ Moriarty was horrendously priced earlier in the week and I got some 5s about Our Duke. I've dutched him with Disko at 13/2 this evening. Don't really get the fuss with Bellshill, it's not as if his form is working out that well with Haymount not running that well behind Anibale Fly the other day. The front three should be tighter together in the market.

I think Brelade has a chance of turning form on Saturnas tomorrow stepping up 2f. He has only 2L to find & I remember Elliott commenting late last year after a win that a step up in trip would suit. Geraghty in the saddle is another plus. 5/1 a tempting price.

Leopardstown Sunday

2.00 Canelie
2.30 Meri Devie
3.00 Barcardys e/w
3.30 Our Duke

Line out 5.00

Got stopped at a crucial stage the last day, ran on very well then and I think with better luck would have been the winner. Plenty of money for it that day if I remember correctly, il back it ew to be safe.

Meri Devie looked really useful and was asked nothing last time but to pick up after the last. 9/2 looks huge

Bunk of Early could give Paul Townend a double the both his mounts are drifting like barges

Bellshill odds against is surprising can't see him losing 6/5

Irish Gold Cup

I wouldn't touch Carlingford lough with a barge pole here.

He tends to drop himself out and come with a rattle but there's going to be no pace here and there could be a sprint finish.

Don Poli on the other hand will be suited by a slower pace and if he gets close to them could win this.

Barry has chosen not to ride Minella Rocco..big mistake IMO just because he won the 4 miler doesn't mean he's slow he has plenty of toe when he's right

Great race. Have to be pleased with EOD's run.

Sizing John has unfortunately probably fu*cked a few Ryanair bets.
