A spin off with Gene would be great, time travel or not - theres nothing like seeing the villains get the crap beaten out of them :P!!

Or Doctor Who. Or Wells's The Time Machine. Or Back to the Future and Back to the Future II, or... yes, Quantum Leap was great fun, but it was nice to have a lengthy development of characters in one period of time for a change. I wouldn't mind seeing a re-run of QL.

I refused even to look at this thread as I was behind hand in catching up on my recorded episodes and I didn't want it spoilt! I watched the last two back-to-back last night without falling asleep once! So it must be good!

Really excellent series and I loved the detail - bet they had a blast playing out several of those scenes, especially the train robbery one!

I loved the play on the test card with the little blond girl - especially the very final scene - clever. Agree the music they used was excellent too.

I'd just been given my convertible 13/60 Triumph Herald by my father (I was a very spoilt brat) and have fond memories of zooming up and down the hills to Uni in Bath as a fresher.... Those were the days!

Sorry i didnt mean that in a sadistic way, more that the Sweeney approach to policing is makes for a bit of feelgood tv!

No probs Woppit :)

The one slightly distasteful element of the show is that of course these sort of tactics led to a string of horrible miscarriages of justice in the mid 70s.

Its on BBC4 tonight at 9pm, (I think) if anyone missed iot - I havent seen ay of them and your lots explanation of what happened isa completely different to another forum i go on - so now Im totally confused!!!!

Quantum leap is running from start to finish on ITV2 or 3, not sure which but i'm keeping my eyes open waiting for the last episode as I thought it was superb

One thing I forgot about 1973 can we send Gene Hunt round to nobble Richard Pitman before the Grand National so someone who can ride is on Crisp
