Logging out

For the past few weeks I have been using company laptop to get here during the week. Its got some restrictions on some sites bui if I use google to start this seems to bypass them. However having logged on whenever I try to send a PM and sometimes when I try to post I get logged out and lose the message or post.
This is highly frustrating -is there a solution apart from buying a new laptop?

I'd suspect it would have something to do with the settings, which you might have to seek permission to change.
