Watering Listowel racecourse is akin to selling sand to Arabs.
Apparently the ground was too quick for NH racing Sunday so they watered.
Ground changed twice yesterday at a racecourse, surrounded by a river that is a magnet for rain.
Today's flat race card has 16 non runners , so far.
They have Kerry National tomorrow , another flat card Thursday and two NH cards to end the week.
Surely two flat race days at the start of the week would give them the best of the ground and they could water later on if required.
Anyways Oisin Murphy has a home gig today to make up for Frankie's absence ; will he do a flying dismount ?
Best of luck to team Traditude Tara tomorrow, if the course survives the yellow rain warning.

Brendan Kennelly, poet, wit and soft voiced lothario attended one year with a professor of languages for company.
Anyways Brendan explained the significance of the Harvest Festival and the unique mix of attendees.
" Though they may not have your formal education do not for a moment underestimate their intelligence."
The guest went to get the first round.
On his return he excitedly told Brendan how he heard two locals greet each other in what he called a brand of Mandarin Chinese, explaining how "hara " hoora " and " harra" were examples of that Oriental dialect.
Brendan explained that the greeting he heard was " O'Hara , ya hoor ya, how are ya ?"
Don't forget your umbrella and be sure to throwmedownsomething .

At the top of the market Ain't that a Shame has been on my jumps tracker since he was third in Stattler's debut run over fences. He's been a painful horse to back overall with a couple of heart breaking near misses and two very bad runs over here but his form is very solid and he's still reasonably handicapped off 146.

Foruum double is on in the last two races. Freedom to Dream and Traditude Tara.

Kerry National winner Desertmore House has the makings of an Aintree National winner.
In Martin Brassil he has the right trainer, he absolutely bolted up yesterday , running clear after the last and finishing a fresh horse.
Proper NH pedigree also by Court Cave, grand dam by Buckskin, next dam by Laurence O; NH royalty from my youth.
