Rumh - 1 win in 10 on turf isn't good enough regardless of company. 7l win lto on A/W in same class should read well, but in truth Frankie mugged them.
Very Good Day - Already 20lb lower than mark after only win and never closer to repeating than at York two starts ago. Last two races would suggest the trip would suit. Previous efforts at this trip less so. Maybe just slow.
Bilidn - 14 attempts to break duck then wins 5 on the bounce. Up against better horses here though. 29lb higher than 2 months ago.
Mica Mika - Not convinced he is a stayer. Win over hurdles at just 2m and last win on flat over 12 at the tight Chester. Also not convinced he is good enough.
Reem Star - always gives a run for your money and victory lto looks good. 2m for the first time but should stay. Needs to improve again.
Getabuzz - another consistent sort albeit mainly in lower class. Last two pieces of form read well and seems to like it good or softer. One to watch.
Orsippus - A better hurdler than flat horse. Doesn't win very often, despite positive last month.
Herostatus - was rated 13lb higher than this at the start of last summer and last three runs since returning from unsuccessful try over hurdles hint at that ability. Limited ability, but might just be ahead of the handicapper second time round.
Pokfulham - Probably in flat form of his life at 6, with a couple of recent wins improving his record. Unfortunately, as form, it still isn't that great.
Bruslini - French flat form four years ago that unsurprisingly got him picked up for national hunt. Switching back from fences to grab a place on the flat was interesting, but probably needs further than even this now.
Swinging Hawk - Not won on turf or over hurdles since coming to the UK. Little to suggest that will change soon.
Jonny Delta - Was progressing steadily from a low base until the end of last year. Looks to find a handful too good at this level now.
Red Jade - 9 trips to York without reward so far. Nothing to trouble the judge at all this season. Not good enough.
Bet: A raggy bunch. Probably looking for Getabuzz or Reem Star to improve again to take this. However, at the 8/1 price, I'll take Rumh's front running tactics to be vindication of his previous similar wins. He might have been slaughtered trying to outrun his rivals in a G1 here less than a year ago, but there is nothing close to that caliber in this field.
