Great to hear he is back on track after suffering from depression...sounds like his fellow jockeys rallied around him and have helped him seek treatment.

I hope he continues to recover from it. A mental health problem can happen to anyone, but for someone who lives the life of a jockey it is all the more understandable.

Depression is a mysterious business at times. Things can appear to be going well for somebody and yet they can be really struggling.

Well done to him for finding someone to talk to about it and fair play to his friends, especially Mark Walsh, for responding so decisively.

Good on him he had the balls to open up and talk about his problem rather than bottle it up.

Agree with Grey bout Mark Walsh most of us are pretty insensitive to others problems as they don't really affect us personally.

Mark Enright is a lucky guy to have a friend like him.

I like as well that all the comment on the RP site are positive. He's a brave boy, though he shouldn't have to be, maybe the world is slowly changing wrt mental illness. Let's hope his courage allows other people in racing to give and recover support they need.

Another sign of the camaraderie between jockeys.
