Willie hints at Felix Yonger for 2 miles and Champagne Fever to go up in distance, said he was impressed with Defy Logic and reminded Matt that Felix beat him comfortably.
Annie won't take on the Hurricane and he's keen to get as much out of her before the spring.

I think the Sam TD booking for Big Buck's was a pretty clear indication that Annie Power is going for the stayers hurdle .

Ricci appears to be quoted on the SL website as suggesting she is more likely to run in the CH than the WH though he aslso discusses running her in the Cleeve Hurdle . That will get the crowds in if BB has to take her on, first race back .

Once again Willie says a horse WON'T TAKE on the Hurricane, he said he will get an entry in the champion but wont take him on.

I thought it was a slightly confusing interview Max, he said at the start of the interview if UDS wins the Red Mills "it looks like the Champion Hurdle is where we are heading" - only to say at the end that "he wont take Hurricane Fly on but the CH is the only race for him at Cheltenham"

Ruby once said of Willie Mullins that he rarely gives an opinion straight up, he usually needs to think it through for a few days before coming up with his thoughts.

Put him in off top weight in the county.

I agree 14/1 nrnb. Restained untill they crest the rise (Make A Stand like) then released, he would be very hard to pull back. Would be a bit concerned over his hurdling tecnique though and that for me is the one thing that Hurricane excels at. Dont think I have ever seen a horse get from one side of a hurdle to the other so economically, sometimes it seems as though he just lifts his front legs, he spends no time in the air.

I am sure WM nearly said 'keep them a part' but stopped himself, agree NRNB makes it easier to commit (too late for me though), and I think he hurdles well and don't see that as an issue at all.

Hope he is wrong but Maruco could be right and they might go to Aintree with him.

Thank god for chappers, he's the only one who can get more than 1 word out of willie.

I am impressed that Hurricane Run is coming out of retirement to run in the World Hurdle to add to his Arc and KG successes .

Patrick Mullins said today he's sure 'Dad' will run Annie Power in the race which she has the best chance of winning. That to me is the Mares Hurdle. I hope he's right and that they wouldn't pull her from this race for Quevega's sake. Quevega's already won it five times, why should a sixth win be handed to her on a plate?
