Mccririck - Does His Arrogance Know No Bounds?

At some point, he will go too far and C4 will let him go. To be honest, I'm surprised he's lasted so long.

I do agree that in the past he has been a good journalist and has campaigned strongly on behalf of punters but he is now into self-parody and his over-the-top views often ruin what can be quite interesting racing discussions even on the Morning Line (so I'm told  ).

For all McCriricks faults (of which he has a few) could you imagine how bland the programme would be without him. Could you imagine Taannnyyyaaa sitting in his seat instead for instance?

I think if there was a choice I would put up with guessing what he looks like without his hat on, or in a leotard Trudi  instead of what the alternative to him not being there at all could be!

I hav noticed tha twhen he is speaking - his body and head seem to have a pronounced jitter. I remarked to the lucky Mrs AC last week that he looks like a man with the early stages of some debilitating nervous disorder. I hope I am wrong - but have a look next week.

Will they encourage a protogee buffoon to take his place over the next couple of years? I think most people who know racings know what he is, but he I'd guess he is the face of racing for many of joe public.

Will we miss him when he's gone?

An, I agree, he certainly has some form of a physical twitch which is recently more pronounced. Fingers crossed it is just old age creeping up on him, and nothing more sinister.

I assume there was never a little Junior McCricick waiting in the wings to take his place. I just have always assumed he didn't have any kiddies. I am right with that assumption aren't I? :shy:

An - I've noticed the same, wouldn't be surprised if he's in the early stages of Parkinsons (which I wouldn't wish on anyone).

I mentioned it on here a couple of years ago. I always said nobody ever takes notice of me...
