Well two months down the line still no birds in the garden but this little feller calls to say hello every day. Identification anyone ?

Well i'd say it was a frog or a toad from looking at it.

Its massive and smiling at you in a freaky kind of way. :what:

First of all DG, have you tried kissing it. It may be the princess you always dreamed of. Failing that, you will be pleased to know it is the common or garden frog. Ironically not so common now.
sorry typo.

Not looking as close as Kathy, I will note because of the mild weather the breeding season may have started a tad early. :luv:

It's extremely attractive, in a slightly damp and chubby way. And such a winning smile... what's not to love?

He's posting his Cheltenham bankers on the BBC online's Horse Racing section right now, under the name 'bloatedoilytoadface'...

That's what I thought too, he's cute and with such a lovely smile.

I had a dream about a frog last night actually. He was smaller than yours, a yellowy green colour with very smooth, slippery skin. He kept jumping out of my hands. Lord only knows what that dream means

It's going to win the Grand National ?

:P

Griffs: perhaps it was a baby froglet? My Collins Gem 'Understanding Your Dreams' says that baby animals (okay, reptiles in his case!) represent a desire to procreate. :suspect: Ahhh.... given that you've acted on that very successfully, and Mr GG is now gelded, perhaps it represents the repeated capture and escape of the little frog as 'no matter how many times you do it, there won't be any more'!

In that case it must mean a French trained horse will win :P

Krizon, there are no thoughts of procreation in my head I can assure you  This frog was definitely a male frog, it may have been able to talk too.

Very likely if it was male, Griffin - you were right to wake up, though, because if it'd got going it would've been all about the Man U match at Lille-pad last night...

Another one has appeared today, as of yet they do not appear to have introduced themselves to each other.
