I`ve had my current mobile on contract from Orange for a couple of years. I dont use it that much but my bill is usually in the region of £60 a month. I`ve cancelled the contract and i dont want to go down the pay as you go route for convenience reasons.
So i was wondering which network in your opinion would offer me the best value?

Without doubt the best value is 3. I am with them though and would not recommend their network at all. The coverage is pants.

I really do think that Orange's customer care leaves every other company standing but their coverage can be a little patchy. Having said that, they are so good that I have stayed with them fro a while now despite the sometimes patchy coverage. Coverage-wise, you would really struggle to beat Vodafone.

Ah, I feel like a company whore now. That should be qualified as "their 3G coverage is pants". They roam onto O2 in 2G so they cover pretty much everywhere for that.
