I was on the poor person's taxi the other day when my mobile went off, on completing the call the ned/chav type sitting next to me said:
Ned: "here big yin, whit wiz that choon by the way?"
Simmo (in deepest, gruffest, don't even think about stealing my phone or I'll cut your head off voice): "it was Moonlight Sonata"
Ned: "Whit?"
Simmo: "Moonlight Sonata. Beethoven."
Ned: "Beethoven aye? That wiz sound by the way, ah'm gauny huftae score that"
So you heard it here first, if you start hearing neds/chavs using Beethoven ringtunes on their mobiles, I'm afraid it was my fault.
