Here in Benidorm I comnplained at reception that the air con wasn´t on. They said it wasn´t hot enough to have it on even though it´s 25-26C in my room. I´ve been sleeping with the window open. A shot of ouzo before going out for the evening and another small one before going to bed and I´ve been talking the extra precaution of leaving the top off the bottle during the night. Tonight is my last night here and so far - touch wood - no bites of any sort. Mind you, the mozzies ahve hundreds of thousands of people to pick on.

(For Celtic fans I recommend the Celtic Tavern on Calle Ibiza. The music, if staying British/Irish while abroad is your thing, must be among the best in town but I´d keep it in that kind of perpective.)
