My god-my dad is going to the WalesvSouth Africa rugby-??????
I have to now take the 2 bambinos "2"and"1" to Mecca-"Cheltenham on my own-any childminders there??????????

I'd say leave them with me but I'm working on the Saturday  I'm hoping to come along on the Sunday, and I know I'll have Molly (aged 6) with me for sure. She wouldn't want to miss out on a days racing

From the Cheltenham website:

Is there a crèche for children?
A supervised play are and entertainments are provided for young children at The Open, on New Year's Eve and Day and at the Evening Meeting in May.

Harry I would like to oblige but it would be like a kindergarten here :o :D ..... my family two beautiful grandchildren (girls) 7 & 4( they commandeer my p/c when they arrive) my daughter and son in law turn up on a Saturday as both work through the week, my daughter teaches in Cardiff.....

So my Saturday racing unless by prior notice, which on some rare occasions I have done (but I don't like to say I am going racing on a Saturday) is via the DVD & VIDEO set up to record both the racing and or the match, like most Saturdays? Normally viewed in the evening  .....

But Harry good luck mate in your quest!! difficult I know.....

Your best bet (ha, ha!) might be to contact a local child-minding agency (see local Yellow Pages), harry, to see if they can send round a child-minder to your house for the day. Additionally, local pre-school playgroups may be able to put you in touch with a respectable sitter, or even a mum who wouldn't mind another two tinies for a day. Another idea is to put an ad in your local paper for a babysitter for one day only, references required. The sitter can then sit the babes at home, give them their food, change the necessaries, etc., and can have all the mobile numbers to hand.

The creches at racecourses aren't really for babies, they're for slightly older kids, and the nappy-changing facilities tend to be in the women's loos! So you'd be better off having complete peace of mind with someone sitting for you professionally at home.

Thanks guys.
I think I'll leave them in the car-they will be ok for 4 hours as long as they have food and water.

Phewww... four hours, two tinies, and no loos... you might need to leave the doors open for a few minutes before you get in, harry...

I have to say that your Dad has made the right choice of the two.
Philistine!

harry - they have a "child looking after area" at Cheltenham on Paddy Power day.
