That was my impression.

The televised stewards enquiry was intersetesing, although it was pretty clear there was not going to be a change to the result. It shows that jockeys have to argue their case and what a disadvantage the British and Irish boys would be at in France in those circumstances if they are run the same way.

Soumillon's heart did not seem to be in his plea today. The two day ban was harsh on Queally IMO.
