New Point To Point Forum

One more and it's a rewrite of 'The Famous Five Have It Right Off In Chaddesley'.

Not suitable for children!

And the yacht bought with proceeds of movie rights to be named something like 'Talking Horses Afloat'

I've been to one point to point before, cos I'm all about my ratings & stats, when it came to thinking about betting I felt like I was on the naked & afraid reality show. 🤪

Some really good racing at Chaddesley Corbett last wekend and GbPointing on Facebook have some interesting videos of the days events. Will "The Famous Five Have It Right Off In Chaddesley" be featured next time around ? :cheerleader:

The lovely Wolf Walker who is owned by a good friend, runs at Hereford in the first tomorrow. He won his first three points for Chris Barber so nicely season before last and then went to Cheltenham for a Hunter Chase but it rained and the ground was dire. Biddick looked after him that day but he got a leg and has had a good amount of time off. Chris has transferred him to his neighbour for a run under Rules but has dropped him back to 2m over hurdles which I'm not sure is ideal. Anyway I hope he runs well for the owners (and comes back to pointing!!)

Trainer/rider Bradley Gibbs is to take out his Rules licence which is a loss to the sport.

Wasn’t Wolf Walker 2nd at Huntingdon to the big money horses Paladium. ?

By the way great to have you back here jinnyj
No, he won three at Larkhill before the Cheltenham race and prior to that he had three point runs in Ireland.

Back after a week off with a nasty lurgy plus I just needed a switch off.

What a good shout Jinnyj managed to get 50’s early doors ……thank you 😍

Will Bradley Gibbs wife take over the pointers perhaps

I'm a bit blown away by how well he looks to have won! Sadly the Betfair video was not working so I was unable to watch it. Hopefully it will rectify itself so I can watch a replay on ATR.

I am absolutely thrilled for them. One of the owners gave me the mare I have (Parstara, dam of Springtime Legend) in her retirement and I supported him when his wife passed away about 4 years ago. He's the kindest man you could ever meet and is passionate about pointing and racing. He shared Wolfie (they bought him from Ireland after three so-so runs) with a good friend, Andy Ham and we used to all go to Goodwood together. Sadly Andy died suddenly in August and so his share transferred to his widow. I'm just so happy that this horse looks like being decent enough under Rules too, having both lost their life partners, it's a nice tonic to enjoy. I sadly doubt he will be back pointing any time soon though!!

Not sure re GB, Gordon.

Cracking shout Jinny but it's finished 2nd i think which is a shame as if Gordon had a 50/1 winner the first round of hot chocolates was going to be on him that's for sure.

Yesterday I booked sponsorship of “The Dick Saunders” Hunterchase at Leicester which is where it all began for Jumping For Fun four years ago. Dom Bradshaw kindly allowed me to post my crazy idea which in all honesty a majority of us myself included didn’t really think that it would take off…..one race if we were lucky and then shelve it and find another way of bonding The Forum……….but not only did it take off it has been soaring for four seasons now and growing year on year. Four season 1, Six season 2, 8 (although one was abandoned) season 3 we currently have Four for 2026 season already and two more will hopefully be announced before Christmas, lleaving one more target course to find funds for then we will move on to see if we can source yet another race and all of this is achieved through voluntary donations from Pointing Pointer Forum and beyond.
The list so far is:
Leicester 15/02/26
Wincanton 25/02/26
Hexham 13/04/26
Stratford 29/05/26 The Restricted Final
