Interesting on The Pointing Pointers Podcast today where Martin Harris was a guest and got talking about his "Loose Leaf" where he claims to have 60% of his top selections WIN. He also went on to say that the most vorciferous critic on SM is someone who does not even go pointing

Oh I love Martin - I never realised he was a course commentator until I saw him at the Cheltenham Evening meeting last May and he said "Oh just got to go and call this race" And then I heard him doing the commentating and putting on his posh voice. I think he's one of my most favourite people I see pointing - incredibly knowledgeable but super lovely and fun.

A true point to point man and nobody would have the balls to challenge him other than via social media because he would tie them up in knots but heyho many brave keyboard warriors who would not say boo to a goose face to face

He used to co-write the legendary MacKenzie and Selby annual every year with them so yes he really knows his stuff.

A short section - starting at around 1:22:25 - on this week's Road to Cheltenham on the prospects of Music Drive ( Kelly Morgan ) in next Friday's Hunters' Chase. 4th in last year's race and currently around 12/1. He's had one race in a four-runner mixed open point to point at Revesby Park on 17th January, but this race isn't currently shown in the Racing Post's form.
