I'm from California, been to NY a few times but always wanted to live in the UK. So I came over for a job, centuries ago. Was a little scary, but loved it, and am still here.

Key seems to be getting set up in a lively spot that is handy enough to get in and out of work from. For what its worth I'm looking at places in Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill and Greenpoint; if anybody has any opinions on those or others give me a shout.

I'm in the sort of job that if you're not careful you end up couped up in an office at an ungodly hour and it doesn't make a difference where you are. I'm determined not to allow that to happen really.

Indeed TS IIRC you'll be couped up in an office somewhere with a blonde twenty-something model judged on that newspaper articles.

Was offered a job at home that professionally was a no-brainer. I'm now shuttling between Dublin and London most weeks on cramped, late-night Ryanair flights.
