The market told you all you needed to know about Stowell as he drifted out to 11/4 from 15/8. Don’t back drifters.
The next was disappointing as both Eldrickjones, Project Dante failed to fire. Or should I say Project Dante fired away too fast and too soon - blew it right there. Sam Maximus surprised and although the tote place payout was nothing approaching the 40/1 sp it reduced the damage a bit.
Ducked Al Aasy and his odds-on even though I thought he would win. Even though 6/5 was skinny (what do I know) Baaeedhardened through to 10/11 in the end and must be pretty good since Maximal is a good yardstick.
Migration was a non-runner, but at Newbury Poet of Life came in at 9/4.
