NH 2010-2011: Weather Watch

That would be daft indeed, with half the field also entered for the Gold Cup.

Apologies Redhead… this was an attempt at being bitingly sarcastic, even the RFC wouldn’t be so silly as to run the KG and the Gold Cup on the same day… it would be like uprooting the Champion Stakes from Newmarket and running it at Ascot, or running two of the five juvenile Group 1s on the same day… it could surely never happen…

Rain and snow... a threat to racing at weekend?

Chepstow appears to be confident.

Poor little head still not really with it Steve (doped to eyeballs), so sarcasm radar totally switched off.

Best to treat me as a simpleton at present - "yes" "no" "black" "white" sort of comments only registering. Finer shades of grey just not registering at present. :(

Thursday's action at Gowran Park hinges on a 7.30am inspection.
A severe overnight frost is forecast at the County Kilkenny venue, prompting officials to assess conditions prior to a meeting that is due to include the Grade Two Galmoy Hurdle and the Connolly's Red Mills Thyestes Handicap Chase.
The course is raceable at present, with the ground described as heavy. ( goracing.ie)
