Talking to someone in the yard over the weekend and Nicanor is due to get an entry in the Champion Hurdle along with the other Meade horses. Aitmatov will have an entry in both the stayers and champion.

I was ill informed. Is in training and might make it for one of the festivals yet.

Champion Hurdle for Nicanor is looking more likely.

Considering the Meade yard has shutdown in an attempt to rid itself of whatever has plagued his horses, he will striggle to get a prep run into Nicanor so surely the best advice would be to draw stumps in this campaign and keep him fresh for a crack at Novice Chasing next term?
