I notice that Fudges nickname is 'Parsnip' which I think has a touch of genius about it. Dom is known as 'Shouty' - good but not great.

The nickname I had as a teenager is Politically incorrect - so I won't post it.

Anybody else have or had good nicknames they'd like to share?

Erm... I don't think Dom IS nicknamed Shouty, AC. I think that's you stirring the pot, you bad boy. I can't believe that you were called 'Knobhead', either...

It does begin in S and end in Y but I'll leave it up to Dom to decide if she wants to post it. :P

Mine is Tabs (don't ask)

I've had a number of nicknames down the years.

At school my friends called me Shark ('cos I was good at some things), those I didn't get on with called me Fuzz (on account of my mop of red hair).

Outside school my best friends called me Louis/Big Louis but I won't go into the reasons why, but it was the nickname I liked the best.

Latterly things mellowed to Mo, which I hated at first, but got used to

I have two but over the years a few more too NED which I used to post under on CH4 all those years ago??........... :o and TOP OF THE RANGE ........ :o   Oh and of course Merlin the Magician........

Oggie.
A sad but natural extension from my surname. However, I've just moved to Wales so I can assume that they're all chanting for me.

I am 'The Dog'. Not just 'Dog' mind, it's 'The Dog' ;)

Archie,

Whereabouts in our green and pleasant land have you settled? Or was that just a joke?

Jackal was one, although rarely used now. A few mates saddled me with Potter as in Harry Potter due to a few photos they got hold of taken when I was younger. It was the glasses and mop of dark hair that did it. Needless to say a couple of them wont let it go even though I dont ware specs no more

The same cruel 'friends' have even nicknamed my forum 'Potters Trotters'!

B'stards!!!

My housemate called me pocket dynamo which i q liked but the nickname chairman struck through the univ days. also called willow as well and random task.

Leighton. Still get Christmas cards to L. Rees even though the nickname is about 25 years old.

As DG so kindly pointed out  my nickname in racing did indeed begin with 'S' & end in 'Y'. It was, however, 'Stumpy' due to the exceptionally short thumbs that I possess (oh, and the fact that I ain't the tallest, at around 5'2"!!). However, this nickname did get annotated slightly thanks to my mate Jim Culloty, whom whilst I was chatting to him in the pub one night, mis-heard the lads calling to me, thinking they shouted 'Stumpy Monkey' rather than 'Stumpy! Stumpy!'. That one kinda stuck afterwards.....

Short thumbs, and called Stumpy Monkey... have you checked to see if they're opposable thumbs, Shadow? Found yourself strangely drawn to tree branches, bananas, and promiscuous, random sex?

:o RICKY was another of mine owing to the surname........J-R my initials........and there's more   nah nothing of note but the FATMAN... THE CARDIFFIAN my bruvver makes names up as he goes along for different people....

We have in the neighbourhood BALDIE MATHIAS.....PETER THE SNAKE... THE VICAR....
