On my home PC I cannot get audio from a lot of video sites, like youtube. I use Firefox but it is also like it with IE which I still have loaded on the PC. The clip plays otherwise, just no sound. Any ideas?

Yes!:)
I should have mentioned that the sound is perfectly fine with every other application - media player, etc.

I've checked the volume on the sites.

How do I ascertain if I have the correct codec downloaded?

Thanks, Phil, but it isn't files on the PC that don't have audio, it's streaming feeds from sites like Youtube that don't have audio?

Usual caveat, if everything goes bang don't blame me:

1. Open up Notepad

2. Copy and paste all of this text in to it:

3. File > Save as (to somewhere you can find it like your desktop):

Filename: missing.reg
Save as type: All files

4. Double-click on file (And any pop-up boxes etc.)

Et Voila (hopefully)
