Noted in running - Flat 2022

I think you're in the wrong thread Barjon. This is for horses you noted at the time of running as possible future winners. If you put up either horse at the time I apologies in advance

Quite right, tan thx.. Can’t work out if I can move it, so leave it here - maybe one of them will run well enough to convert it to a note

If only we had spotted the winner in running last time of that race was 395/1 on betfair......wonder if it was the owner who backed it at the craziest odds

Aye, you can’t cater for those  The one I was keen on Lehab was a non-runner so didn’t have to cover with the other one. Lucky boy.

Think he'll keep it looked 6 and half a dozen with the second actually bumbing him, but I'm still on a sabatical (no money in my accout) till she gives me back the credit card so no worries.

A good second and a FPP win since I put him up isn't bad.

Two that caught my eye today were

TENEBRISM nowhere near the winner but wasnt given an all out R.Moore finish.

TIPPY TOES 610. I backed this just before the off and it never got any sort of luck in running.once in the clear it started to fly and finished 12th.
Off 98 it can win a hcap.

Both winners now.dont think tippy will be running in hcaps now though.

Race Ref #5171

Chester, Saturday 16 July, 3.08

I backed Manaccan in this race and, as I said at the time, I was worried about the booking of Queally. It turned out he wasn't an issue after all and I have to say 2f out I was pretty sure I was going to collect, seeing he was obviously going to get a clear run through on the rail, which he did. However, down the wide outside, Look Out Louis fairly flew home and left him standing. I've now managed to check the form for the race and it's looking very positive. I'm certainly taking a very positive view of the race and the winner is going into my tracker as a big improver at the age of six. He has an excellent record now at Chester and it may be that connections will want to enhance it later in the summer. He doesn't have any immediate entries so the likes of the Stewards' Cup isn't on the agenda. I'll be slightly wary if he runs elsewhere next time but it might not stop me backing him but the next time he runs at Chester he'll be very hard to beat. He went up 6lbs for the win the other day but I reckon he can still be very competitive at the same level, and he wouldn't need to improve much to be a good thing.

Look Out Louis is engaged in the 1.50 at York on Wednesday and in another race back at Chester on Saturday. The York race is worth £100k compared with Chester's £20k so I'm presuming Chester is only a goer if something goes wrong on Wednesday. The low draw is a concern [at York] but at 16/1 BOG and five places on offer I'm on.

I thought a low draw was best. In the 5f 445 mine is drawn 19 so I hope you are right.

Ben Curtis rode a shocker on Zoffee today. Full of running, he ran into 2 cul-de-sacs and wasn't persevered with once he got daylight. Still holds an Ebor entry (33/1} but deffo has another race in him before the seasons out.

Marhaba The Champ Ripon yesterday. Racing upsides the leader he was carried right across the track at the final bend losing several lengths in the process. Finished very strongly to finish second only a length behind the winner. Can’t help thinking he would, at least, have posed a serious problem for the winner if he hadn’t lost so much ground.

Rounding the bend turning into the home straight, FRENCH ROMANCE, unplaced, hung badly left-handed despite its riders best efforts, carrying MARHABA THE CHAMP, placed second, very wide, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.

Sea Speedwell (2.20 Hayd) held up for new trip today, but resulted in her being boxed in, and probably didn't stay when she got out anyway.
Didn't like undulations at Goodwood lto, but will be off a cracking handicap mark next time she runs (entered York Sunday - be surprised if she runs) and her stable know the price of fish well enough not to spurn the opportunity.
All imo,of course.

Made all for a cosy win at Haydock today at 11/1. I let it go unbacked because I was hoping to smash it the next time it ran at Chester.

But at least I knew it was well handicapped.

Lethal Angel (4.15 Brighton) was desperately unlucky and poorly ridden just now, checked in running twice and had to wait until very late to get a gap, finished like a train to finish second and was ahead just after the line, very well handicapped off 57.

Chairman was interesting in the Lavezza at Ascot. He could be one for the Siskany/Candleford handicap at Newmarket in October and later the November Handicap. The front three pulled well clear on Saturday, looks good form.

Thank You guys I think just about everything I've put up here has won but you know those doubters  more fool them 16/1 was easily available

My misses even said well done and smiled when she saw the return LOL

Nice win today

You don't want to be on the wrong side of Time Traveller when he runs in handicap company.

Maybe he will win next time but I got the impression he was a few canters short of a gallop and is being laid out.

Either way he will win races.
