Lost a few quid on the race, might have been interesting if Now Is The Hour had stayed up. Certainly wouldn't have been confident I should add.

A first-season novice wins the Ultima and one of the better hurdlers wins this.

In trying to beat Majborough he paid the price. It's why I thought he was a place lay.
