Stuck the 2000 Guineas horses up on the Guineas thread....here are some of the others (shortened up a bit) from the Racing Post stable tour today:

Older Horses

Frozen Fire - Likely to start in the Ormonde Stakes. Soft ground did not suit in the Leger. Done well over the winter.

Georgebernardshaw - 5 furlongs too short...goes to the Greenland Stakes over 6 furlongs next.

New Zealand - Nice staying type who should hopefully win more races.

Poet - Disappointing last time and maybe ran too soon after his return. Having a break and will come back and show himself in a better light.

Red Rock Canyon - Important horse at home and on the track. More of the same this year.

Septimus - Not happy with him after his Curragh workout. Autumn campaign.

Soldier Of Fortune - Came back very sick after Santa Anita, so having a very easy time of it. Autumn campaign.

Thewayyouare - Happy enough with his run yesterday and he should come on for it. Tattersalls Gold Cup could be next - would like some easy in the ground.

Yeats - "He's the first eight year old we've had since I came to Ballydoyle and its a joy to have him back for another season. He's a year old and a year wiser and was just ready to start off yesterday when it looked as if he just wasn't fit enough to cope with ground that was quite testing for his first run of the season." Hoping to come back for the Ascot Gold Cup and no rush to decide if he needs another run before then.

Three Year Olds

Age Of Aquarius - Has done well but slipped and damaged ligaments on a stifle. Coming along nicely and is a good moving, smart sort of colt who will get 1m2f and hopefully 1m4f.

Augustusthestrong - Half brother to Stravinsky, has done well. Needs good ground and a mile (possibly further).

Black Bear Island - Happy enough with his recent run in a messy race. Could run in the Dee Stakes, Chester Vase or possibly the Italian Derby.

Born To Be King - Waiting on better ground, might step him up in trip.

Byzantine - Unsure where to start him off although he is good form and nearly ready to go. Should stay middle distances.

Changingoftheguard - Promising run last season and going well.

Chief Lone Eagle -Coming along nicely. Might run in the Tetrarch Stakes and should progress all season and get a mile.

Chirkova - Should win a maiden and progress. Stays well.

Coat Of Arms - Needs better ground.Solid horse.

Crimson Sky - Nice colt, ran well yesterday and should appreciate better ground.

Dixie Music - No problem getting 1m4f.

Drumbeat - Nice run at Newmarket. Plenty of class and a nice turn of foot. Dee Stakes is a possibility.

Empress Of France - Athasi Stakes possible next Monday.

Fame And Glory - "He's been fine since his win at Leopardstown. We were delighted with him considering it was his first run of the year and he was carrying a Group 1 penalty for his win at the Saint Cloud late last year. He's a very good looker and a very uncomplicated colt who travels very well in his races and shows good tactical speed. We're looking at the Derrinstown Derby trial for his next possible target and hopefully he will continue to progress"

Francisco Goya - Should improve a good bit for his first run. Handles fast ground and stays well.

Freemantle - "He was impressive when winning his maiden at Tipperary and is a colt we like. He's in good form and coming along nicely. We're not yet sure where he will start off but it's possible he could go to York for the Dante"

Golden Sword - Think he has stepped forward a good bit since last year and hoping he will do well this season....

More shortly...

Part 2....

Grand Ducal - Working away nicely and is a possible for the 2000 Guineas.

Great Wisdom - Nice type but wont start off until the second part of the season.

Hail Caesar - Mentally immature but improving all the time.

Heart Shaped - "She's in very good form. She was only a whisker away from winning the Breeders Cup Juvenile fillies Turf at Santa Anita on her final start last season and we were pleased with her run in the Guineas trial when Murtagh had to take a gap earlier than we wanted. We're hoping she will get 1m and the plan is to send her to Newmarket for Sunday's 1000 Guineas"

It Must Be Magic - Nice type of filly and we are looking forward to her although she is unlikely to start off until late summer.

Johann Zoffany - Strong galloper and is a middle distance colt.

Malibu Bay - Happy with his Sandown run when things did not pan out for him but he will have learnt alot from that. Plenty of options from a mile of the Irish Guineas or one of the Derby trials.

Man Of Iron - Half brother to Rags To Riches who has come on alot since 2. Not far from starting off.

Masterofthehorse - "He's a brother to Alexandrova and we thought he was a very nice horse last year but we possibly made too much use of him when he ran in the RP Trophy. He was working on bad ground leading up to that race and he might have gone off the boil. We think he will leave his Doncaster running behind him and were looking at Chester or maybe the Lingfield Derby trial".

Munster Fusilier - Fine big colt, working nicely. Almost ready to start off and should do well.

Perfect Truth - Big filly who is progressing well. Cheshire Oaks possible.

Rockhampton - Won a maiden and pleasing run at Newmarket. Possible for 1m4f listed race at Dundalk.

Roman Empress - Highly regarded but disappointed at Leopardstown. Had a temperature a week later so has not done much since plus she has had a deep stone bruise so no plans for her.

Set Sail - Probable for the French 2000 Guineas.

Sirgarfieldsobers - Should get 1m4f and possibly a bit further. Possible for a Classic trial at Gowran Park on Sunday.

Stately Home - Won nicely on his debut, very green. Possible for a listed or conditions race next. Could be a Derby horse but Epsom might be too soon.

Swiss Guard - Nice solid sort who is nearly ready to run. Should improve on his one start and stay well.

Tamarind - Nice filly who could start off on Sunday in a maiden.

Totally Devoted - Got a bit tired on her debut at Naas, possible runner on Sunday or Monday.

Trojan War - Ran a lovely race on his only start last year. Needs really good ground and ready to start off soon.

Viceroy Of India - In good form and will probably start off in a mile maiden. Done well since last year.

Westphalia - "He ran a nice race to finish second in France recently and the plan is to send him back for the French 2000 Guineas. He battled hard to win at Doncaster last season and was beaten only half a length when second in the BC Juvenile Turf at Santa Anita. Depending on how he gets on in France he might step him up a bit in trip".

Yankee Doodle - Finished out his race well last time. Should come on for it and stay middle distances well.

Italian Derby a possible for Black Bear Island? Does not sound too good....Ormond for Frozen Fire sounds far from ideal either.

Yeah I smiled when typing that Gareth about MOI!

Not sure if O'Brien always aims his number 1 Derby horse at the Dante.

His two winners were Saratoga Springs (a year with Second Empire and Kingof Kings) and Septimus (a year with Dylan Thomas and Horatio Nelson).

And last year, Frozen Fire wasn't number 1 either.

I am not sure bar the two trials at Leopardstown, that he has a set pattern.

Isn't the Derby Italiano on earlier now? Some time in May? Would still serve as a prep for Epsom I think (obviously it's a Group 1 in its own right), will have to check.

Edit: It's been downgraded to Group 2 for this year and will be on Saturday May 9th.

Is Psalm still in training Gal or has she been retired to the paddocks?

Sounds like they're trying to turn Frozen Fire into their next cup horse eventually.

Disappointed that my Derby horse looks like he's off to Gowran Park - there's hope yet I guess for Sirgarfieldsobers

Same race Mahler went for a couple of years back but looking at last years result:

1) Hebridean - hurdler
2) Ebadiyan - hurdler
3) Starluck - hurdler
