Bar the Ballydoyle older brigade I am struggling to think of many top class older horses staying in training for next year. Any come to mind?

Here's a list, I'll try and keep it updated

Colts/Horses
Ramonti
Yeats
Soldier's Tale
Sakhee's Secret
Lucarno
Literato
Soldier Of Fortune
Astronomer Royal
Mountain High
Zambezi Sun
Marchand D'Or
Benbaun
Le Miracle
Duke Of Marmalade
Honolulu
Macarthur
Mahler
US Ranger
Honoured Guest
Septimus
Aqaleem
Hardasun
Youmzain
Dandy Man
Red Rocks
Maraahel
Creachadoir

Fillies/Mares
Finsceal Beo
<s>Light Shift</s>
Peeping Fawn
Majestic Roi
Darjina
West Wind
Mrs Lindsay
Allegretto

I may have missed some retirements of those, let me know and I'll cross 'em off the list.

You can add Duke Of Marmalade,Honolulu, Macarthur,Mahler, US Ranger, Honoured Guest as possibles from Ballydoyle to stay in training plus that Australian colt.

Is Honolulu still at Ballydoyle Gal? Thought I heard he was moving on after his run in Canada..

I would imagine Aqaleem will be back next year as well..

I think I read in the Racing Post on a piece about Cecil's revival that Light Shift had been retired but Passage of Time was to stay in training.

I haven't heard of stud plans for any of these so they might possibly race in 2008:

Youmzain
Dandy Man
Red Rocks
Maraahel (think they were trying to find him a place at stud?)

Youmzain and Halicarnnassus stay in training.

Don't bank on Majestic Roi just yet, could be off to gainsborough stud

Welcome to the forum Chroniclandlord!! AOH has been sold....I think he is gone to the far east.

Interesting news about Literato while has everything been worked out legally regarding Curlin's future?
