I look forward to seeing Vale Of Kent run on ground with likely cut in it today. In his 10 starts on turf, he has never encountered ground with soft in the description. That said, he may handle it better than expected. He is usually an honest horse who wants to run up on the pace, so perhaps some cut in the ground can curtail the finishing speed of the opposition.

Ive always said racing is all about decisions and i often make the wrong ones.
Today i cashed out before give it some teddy ran because he drifted.then had a fiver win on him which eased the pain but cost me about £125
But a good day tho so cant complain.

Well D O,i was hoping for bigger and expected it to be bigger but a 12/1 winner is still a winner lol.
I didnt put T For Tango up thurs because it was poor value at 7/2 and the damn thing went and won 8/1.

Im going to do another couple in the two big hcaps.
The one is a horse i pondered over last night and thought id sleep on it and now ive missed the boat.
LAKE VOLTA 315Y 1pt ew 10/1 was 20s.has been running well lately over 7f and the drop in trip looks as if it could suit especially if its soft going.i visualise him leading all the way.

In the cesarewitch im intrigued by one.this is just a shot in the dark.the conditions of the race as changed so all horses have to have had 2 runs since april.Ian williams has a couple of decent chances in this but has also runs BLUE RAMBLER 1pt ew 50/1.
Lightly raced,must be hard to train,but has had 2 runs recently to get in.finished 6th 2 yrs ago and is 9lb lower.
 
Good luck today mate. I get the thinking with Lake Volta. Should be hard to pick up. However, I am giving a horse I followed last year, (Golden Apollo) one more chance. He has a lovely turn of foot on a going day, so can pick up horses like Lake Volta in the final furlong.
