What a day,what excitement.i love these big hcaps.i made a fiver profit but it could well have been a lot more.i only back small but gopsies daughter getting beat a head at the curragh was costly.
And i love this bet365 extra place market and did a couple,the grape escape and Burnt sugar who only got beat aabout a lenght and three quarters inn 8th.i took 250/1 2places,150/1 4places and 33/1 10 places.so near but so far...

LUCKY BEGGAR 255Y 1PT EW 33/1 skybet 5 places 1/5 ODDS.

Out of the hcap but has won off higher.well drawn and can run a big race.i will be looking at bet 365 extra place market tomorroe but he needs to drift with bet 365 as they are only 20s at the moment.
 
My memoory is not the best,but i always visualise horses in sprints coming up the rail where the low drawn horses are but today looked entirely different.
Have i lost the plot or are the cameras on the other side now.anyway,i got the 255 entirely wrong and lucky beggar never looked like getting close.

I'm curious Outsider. I too use the 365 extra place markets regularly, and I'm making a regular profit on it. Have you started tracking your bets taking advantage of the maximum number of places, and if so how's it shaping up?

I havent been doing it long and only in big races where i can get some value.i dont keep records although i do a p/l on it on another forum but ive only put 3 selections up so far,two out of 3 returned profit.i have found it profitable though.
If you really fancy one then the 2 horse market is good and i do normal ew and then look to see if i can get at least 12/1 for 8 or 10 places
Burnt sugar last week was a good example as i took 250/1 in the 2 horse market 150/1 4places and 16/1 for 8th he finished 7th but was only beaten 2L.
Pleasant company in the grand national 80/1 2 horse market and 16/1 first ten was to me buying m9ney.barring a fall it was like 6/4 just to get round.
Im only a small gambler and its a shame you cant do extra place doubles but most cas3s i make a small profit rather than losing.
I suppose i should keep a record.
Yesterday i put pipers note up on here at 20/1 but if i had known he was going to drift like he did i would have done him 8n the 8 horse market at 16s.

This has to be a first as i never thought i would be putting a horse up for Santa Anita.
SOUTER came up in my alerts for race 6 tonight,11pm i think.
Used to be trained by keith dalgeish.
