P nicholls stable form

In the table I posted earlier , looking at his strike in Jan and especially Feb , Nicholls going on holiday doesn't seem to cause a problem

Not succeeding?

Your current set of bloodstock parasites (sorry, agents) not delivering?

The solution?

Why, inject a large dose of nepotism into your operation, of course!

Horse racing - what a game. 😂

" But really we've bought him as a steeplechaser because he's got a pedigree for a Gold Cup in him, I think. " ( 5 February 2024 - Anthony Bromley, and not Tom Malone, talking about Caldwell Potter ) Do they go for the two and a half mile novice chase handicap at the Festival and hope for heavy ground?

He's still saying it.

In an article in the RP site today:

"Without a shadow of a doubt, since they've had their last flu jab a lot of them have underperformed. I know some of the younger horses haven't been quite right. As a trainer you'd like to see that at home, but nobody is coughing or has a dirty nose. The flu jabs seem to have knocked us for six and sideways this year."

I have a healthy scepticism when runners from certain yards underperform.

I take the view that it is part of a longer-term strategy, particularly with festival handicaps in mind but also other races that the yard has a history of garnering.

Look what PFN did with Monmiral last season before taking the Pertemps.

Maybe he is hoping Hendo and Skelton will start using her. I'm sure Mullins will have her number on speed dial.

Knocked sideways -he would be better off saying nothing instead of the mushroom management.
