Not interested in your opinion

im simply pointing out poor ciustomer service and ridicuoius demands from a bookie. Up to others what they make of it

How do we know they're ridiculous demands if you won't tell us what they are?

It's you that's being ridiculous.

and to be fair Clive, if you're not interested in people's opinions then don't post your rant on a public forum.

oh grow up

does it really have to be stated more than once that I am highlighting and not the slightest bit interested in whether anyone thinks it right or wrong? Is that difficult to understand?

its up to others to make their own minds up whether they want an account with a bookies that makes it particularly difficuly to get your money out (still waiting....)

if you are not interested in taking that on board then don't comment

Awww!..... don't gang up on Clive - you'll have me feeling sorry for him.

i don't think anyone is under any illusion that this is certainly a playground forum..witness the endless sneering at a relatively new posters posts on the racing threads.

Don't worry about me. Think I give a toss about some of the above? Bloody hell

Out of all of the firms I found Betbright the worst to deal with. Restricted in no time on a losing account.

Being restricted fair enough, but to continue to send the same customers emails about offers etc just takes the pistachio.

How can we make our minds up whether we want an account with a bookies that makes it particularly difficult to get your money out if you won't tell us what documents they have asked you for?

It's a pretty straightforward question. If you (a) aren't interested in people's opinion, and (b) won't tell us the facts, why the hell did you post this?

You must be impossible to do business with.

I run my own successful business as it happens . Started from scratch.

What do you do? Not that I care

I think its a fair response to a stupid comment? About doing business? Difficult to understand

And given that he clearly cant understand my clear response on this very same question from a few poats back the phrase pulling up trees doesnt spring to mind

lets face it its nothing to do with the points made is it?

I was given to understand that bookmakers were exercising greater CSR commitments than previous and closing the accounts of problem gamblers. Isn't it clear that this is what Clive is? It's most unfair of you lot trying to hound his poor soul and force him to admit it

Let's not see this degenerate into the usual name calling. I was just interested in what was so onerous or unusual about the request from PP. I've been asked for documents by Bet365 and Victor, but both were the usual requests of one doc to prove identity (e.g. Passport) and one to prove address (e.g driving license, utility bill, bank statement). Pretty standard stuff, though both requests did coincide with four figure withdrawals. Incidentally both accounts have since been restricted/closed.

Not that you're interested, but since you asked, I am a senior economist at a FTSE 100 financial services company.

Taking back everything seems like my account was hacked badly and the guys I just talked to there were as good as gold

A dinner lady?

Benny ok got that. I didnt see that coming and now get why they were evasive and demanding

Utility bill (two) was biggest pain. Never keep the bloody things

"because you win you suddenly have to prove who you are".

Are you saying that some poor eastern European gangster took sympathy on your inept punting and hacked your account to place some more considered bets than you'd been placing yourself?

or was it more subtle

I do hope you have the decency to amend the thread title now and edit every single one of the scandalous posts you've made tarnishing Paddy power's reputation with your temper led judgements of them? I mean this is like one of those newspaper retractions where they bury the apology in a crossword clue on page 23. I think a thread entitled 'Paddy Power excellent customer service' might help. Perhaps you should follow up with something about being premature too?

Dull Pedant.

Frankly excellent is not the word I would use overall but im asking for thread to be removed

Can we petition to have moved to Forum Gold then instead?

just done a poll Warb....100% of people asked said this was their fav thread ever..so it must true. Good job Corbyn didn't start it..would have been on the front page of the telegraph tomorrow...something like...Gambling Addict Corbyn Slams Bookie
