I have just finished painting some radiators in Castle Capall. The usual dilemna confronts me. Will I just fcuk 'em in the bin or spend the rest of the day and my patience cleaning them?

Clean em - otherwise next time you will just buy cheap ones and the bristles will fall out and stick in whatever you are painting.

You say you have been painting rads AC, is the paint a Hammerite type where you have to clean with their own cleaner ? which is very expensive.

I used Hammerite recently and cleaned the brush with a hand cleanser.

I was going to pay someone to do them DO - but as Desert Realm was beaten that is no longer an option.

Lee - it is an enamel based paint.

I've always bought good quality brushes and looked after them, buying the Alopecia type is a pain, not enough bristles to hold any paint and that is before you open the tin ;)

Why don't you bin the sort of out-of-date radiators that need painting, buy stainless steel or chrome ones designed by Philippe Starck and say goodbye to any future messing around with paint or brushes? Really, you rich types, saving titty bits of money on pathetic things like that, when you should be enriching the quality of your ever-shortening lives.
