Both Kim Baileys Lucky Luk & Charlie Mann's Mr Big take their chance today,

No one is showing it live which isn't a surprise as it means they can edit stuff out if need be :( but ATR will be showing a replay in the week sometime

Come back safe!

From the other thread - Sixteen wins for the 3rd time (although the 'winner' was disqualified last time for taking the wrong route, which certainly did gain several lengths so Sixteen won on merit)

It's extraordinary that the multiple winners in recent years have both been mares
Sixteen is a big powerful grey

no sixteen did not win. the commentator must have mixed something up as we too thought at first he did win, but the winner was nr 6 and was called tiumen. sixteen was 2nd and numero due war 3rd.
1. (6)Tiumen160502. (3)Sixteen 143. (25)Numero Due

Only done once previously Mo.

Not sure it'll be live this year having been moved to a Saturday as a one off (I believe the move is as it would clash with some Speedway on Sunday).

Maybe RUK will show a recording after racing.

All being well I'm going next year when it will return to its' usual slot on a Sunday.

Orphee De Blins wins under Jan Faltesjek,a familiar name to many UK racegoers as jockey to George Charlton.

Tiumen 3rd and Maljimar 4th

There was a live link put up on the Grand National blog site, but I didn't notice it till after the race Not sure what actually happened during the race as I've lost the sound on my computer. Also planning to go one year. A guy called John Pinfold who writes books about the race has been telling us for years we must go so I'll pick his brains when I see him. Hoping that Liam might give us a talk about it at one of our meetings as well.

We went about six years ago and it was great fun. More like a massive point to point than anything. Combined with a few days in Prague it's a lovely long weekend.
