No substantiation as yet but I got an email from moneysavingexpert.co.uk today telling me to expect Ikea to reduce everything by 21% this Saturday to celebrate their 21st birthday.

I only hope the reductions apply online (doubtful, somehow) as i couldn't be @rsed fighting the crowds for the sake of saving a few sheckles.

DO, I think you'll find that you can't.

Tried, myself, to get out of that ordeal, but that was a couple of weeks ago and, you never know, things may be different in your part of the world.

Checked the Ikea site. The 21% discount is on this Saturday but it's not available to 'Shop-Online' customers, so I'd read into this that you can shop online normally at Ikea.

I wonder what will happen on their 100th birthday. :what:
I think they are planning to give 100% of todays market value off the product...

Ikea
I understand.

It took me ages to come round to the idea and my first experience of the place was very negative. However, it's a great showplace for ideas and their suppository furniture is better quality and value, as well as easier to assemble, than any other flat-pack stuff I've tried.

I still only go when dragged along.

Apparently 'Shop-Online' is only available to central England and the greater London area.

Useless f*cking Swedish @rses.
