Prix ganay

I want to be against Treve at Ascot so hope she wins well tomorrow to set up the market. Ground only good to soft so she shouldn't have any worries dealing with CDA.

The forecast ground is soft or soft to heavy
I think cirrus will have his day again tomorrow and 3/1 or bigger should be a good price considering she will not be fully fit tomorrow.

fascinating race. 10f and soft is cirrus' wheelhouse. if treve easily sees him off in those conditions.....look out.

I think she will, she doesn't strike me as a filly who will be hard to get fit and I don't see the drop back in trip as an issue at all.

I reckon she wins hands and heels by 3 lengths.

yeah 10f could still be her optimum despite the arc win. it was very slowly run and she has a turn of foot.

rain this morning and ground now soft, cirrus with a run under his belt. i can't say i'd be piling into her at 4/11 but hoping she wins.

4/1 cirrus seems a good e/w bet. done it. gives me 1.8 on the place part and its trading around 1.26 on betfair. plus he could win if the filly isn't firing on her first start. these are his absolute optimum conditions and he ran well at meydan.

There's a huge difference of opinion in the two available markets without the big two.

I've taken the Baroness at 16/1 (only 7s with the other firm). Both of them can't be right...

She's got stacks of pace and class, 10f will suit just as well. If anything she settled better in the Diane over the shorter trip.

I think 125 will be enough for Cirrus to win today, on these conditions after the dubai run the price is simply massive.

he is not the horse of 2 seasons ag but still is a good horse on softer ground.
the Limestone Lad of the flat

Great comparison. I'm sure Treve will come on but if she hasn't progressed from last season she won't have things her own way.

And it bears pointing out that she needs to have shown normal improvement between three and four to be a leading contender for the top races this season. Even impressive 3yo Arc winners sometimes struggle the following campaign.

Dettori was a good deal easier on her than Soumillon was on CDA . CDA running much better this year than last . Far too soon to write Treve off as not having made improvement she led and got tired in very soft ground.
