As some here may know I watch all racing on mute at home - commentators, pundits, even people in the game interviewed, I can't be doing with any of them.

This poses a real issue when going racing - I can't mute the tannoy!

And the wrong commentator - or even Master Of Ceremonies - can genuinely ruin my day.

Knowing who will be on the microphone in advance would be really handy in deciding whether to go, so if anyone can link to a roster (professional racecourses only required) that would be great.

NB: This isn't the cue for yet another who is your favourite and least favourite commentator thread - I don't care who your faves and pet hates are - this thread, like everything in life, is about ME!

I have the same problem in the bookies!

There's one guy who does the cartoons who is an absolute annoyance.

The universe would be a better place if the remit of the TV mute button could be extended beyond just silencing the TV to everyone and everything!

I seem to remember a red button choice to have no commentary for football matches but retain the crowd noise for atmosphere. So much better than having Carragher deliberately mispronounce Gundogan.
