28s a bastard. I'm stuck badly on 53 (the pool balls), it's supposed to be easy but I can't understand it.
 
I was convinced there wasn't a valid route, but there was - it might help going backwards?
 
Trying. Which way are you facing when you enter the town? It isn't straight up surely?

I've tried pentagon though. I'm going back to try again. I'm full of the cold, off work, feeling sorry for myself and my brain is not working........ :cry:
 
You can use the windows calculator (set on the scientific setting) to convert the binary value to decimal at the end.

You go through 20 cards (the shortest path), some of them twice.

Try going backwards from the finish, you should quickly get on a long run where there's only one possible step each time.
 
I may need someone to PM me the answer to question 38 - or at least descriptions of the flags!! Being colourblind does not help me here!!
 
If anyone gets to 53 let me know. I've gone through all the hints, I know what to do, but I can't make it work.
 
Er - anyone know where PDJ's link to the White Room/Crimson Room/Viridian Room games has gone? I can't find it, and I was having a right old time in the Viridian Room last night, and would like to resume.

Shadow - you say you escaped the VR. Okay, I'm burning the incense sticks okay, I've taken the pills off the skeleton, unlocked the drawers with the key, put the light on and off, found all the little things under the slippers and the pillow, etc., etc. - but where's the key to the book? And what do the Chinese sayings mean? :teeth:

They're alphabetic flags, not flags of the world.
