This might interest plenty of you on here. No betting or tipping just an interview with someone close to the horse telling the story. A bit like an ESPN 30for30 for horse racing.

Episode 1 is Dawn Run and I'm told it has extra information not covered by the TG4 documentary.

edgt will be delighted that Eddie Harty will be a later episode covering the mighty Captain Cee Bee.

Saw this posted by Mark Walsh - not the jockey. Will tune in tonight, looks well worth a listen.

Good

Podcasts are something i generally enjoy when walking the dogs

They have been butchered by cowboys offering tips and hosts seeking fame

This sounds much more like it

It certainly does. I quite like the Revisionist History podcast, I don't listen to many and none on sports. This

I watch one on YouTube called The Finishing Line. I think they’re pretty decent, seem likeable blokes. They come in for a lot of **** as well.

I’ve listened to a few non-industry Racing podcasts, and they all come across as complete fu*cking tossers who probably bet in 5p Dundee Shuffles.

Edit: Worth stating that I think 90% of people on “industry” Racing podcasts also come across as complete fu*cking tossers too.

Have you ever thought about doing one yourself, Grassy?

I'm sure a few would listen. You jumping the final fence at Prestbury Park with a mate while intoxicated sounded like a tale worth telling, no?

Speaking of which, if you return in a future life as a racehorse, what do you think will be your preferred, trip, grade, fences or hurdles, etc?

Your definately not coming back as a five furlong sprinter I think we can all agree on that..

The only circumstances under which I would consider this, would be if Slim agreed to be my foil.......but nobody wants to listen to two eejits call each other a cu*nt for 29 minutes, before agreeing that Willie’s wins the bumper.

Dawn Run episode was a good listen.

Never realised the mare came back from a tendon injury which was testament to her ability, and that of her trainer.

Some great names of the horses she beat from yesteryear like Rainbow Warrior and Kilkilowen.
