Racing Post and Weekender

I just watched the replay of the Wokingham.

After the race Ed Chamberlin was banging on about how the winner 'had been working the house down'.

Kevin Ryan does a column for the Weekender. He headlines Hello Youmzain so fair play for that and talks about his high hopes for favourite Bielsa - which Paul Kealy was heavily into - in the Wokingham but not a single mention of Hey Jonesy, not even as a second string.

I've been complaining for years that these columns are no more than a vehicle for trainers to put punters away from the real business. Alan King was the same when he did it as has been every trainer I can think of who has had a feature column in the Weekender, yet they couldn't find space for Steve M's dosage item for the Guineas.

It's pathetic.
