Of the seven lead stories on their 'News' service this morning, four are Flat-related, one is bookie related, one is Awards related, and one (I'll forgive this) is about Pat Eddery's funeral details.

I cannot express adequately using mere words, how much I despise this execrable excuse for an industry-standard website. It's about time the Chinese DDoS'd the cu*nts into oblivion.

It's good to get it off your chest...
RP is blocked at my work so only have access to the Sporting Life which I reckon does a fair job & has 6 or 7 NH stories this morning

Yep - always Sporting Life and Irish racing for me. The RP is no better than a free sheet from Bookies. and the Editor is a wanksock

Snap Perpetual. Sporting Life hits me with the essential's for the day.
Thankfully can't go to the RP, though I didn't realise it was that bad.

Had to laugh at the way one RP headline appeared online this morning

Peace And Co out

to cement Champion Hurdle claims

On the subject of racing websites the Racing Post at least I can open, The Sporting Life is slow BUT what on earth has happened to ATR's website.

It takes forever to open at times.Last 3 days during racing I found it impossible to get on.

Tried just now 8.21am Thai Time and it opens straight away...............anyone else had problems with it?

I prefer SL to RP but you have to laugh at the tipping. Between all of them the tipsters cover the first 3 favourites in just about every race.

Everything is bollocks when it's too mainstream. That's what the RP fundamentally is, an industry paper to promote the industry.

It's on my desk everyday but I would learn more by lighting the wax in my ears with diesel.

Too true it is.... it is true of all the media in racing. How many times have we had the match of the century this century? Matches that never take place and were never going to?

Thommo......."I'll leave that one to the judge" has nothing less on his mind than promoting the game every chance he gets...he sees things no one else does when he's the commentator in fact I think he sees dead people.

Quick question, please ...............
Is there a Racing Post or other newspapers on this Saturday Boxing Day?
Does one buy the newspapers on Thursday for the racecards for Saturday or instead wait until Saturday?

Thanks.

As far as I know there's a paper printed 2 days before and on Boxing Day,I tend to buy it 2 days before where it's got all of the cards in and devour it cover to cover on Christmas night with a plate of turkey sandwiches while the rest of the family are playing monopoly :)

Slim you muct have been jumping for joy when they did a full web page on this fantastic news

"Jacques Ricou will have his first King George ride in 12 years"

Translated: French has been rides no hoper for Ireland

Downloaded the Timeform App today for the first time. It's far superior to the RP app.

Just downloaded the Timeform App and the verdict for te next race in the UK at Sedgefield is Barney Dwan to win.

I am having a right bet on it just for the hell of it :) Have a crazy Xmas guys

Anyone else having problems logging in? Card expired yesterday has caused meltdown of all members facilities for me, which is decking annoying and adding to the sh!tboxness....
