Belle and Sebastian are a fantastic band too.

I know they have never sacrificed 7 virgins under the full moon wearing a Thor's Hammer pendant but they are very good nonetheless.

Wasn't that 10cc ?

White Horses brings back so many memories of childhood. Pretty sure they used to rotate this with the aforementioned 'Flashing Blade', and the as-yet unmentioned 'Robinson Crusoe' which I believe was dubbed from the original German.

They just don't make 'em like that anymore.

Grassy, we've established elsewhere that we're the same age, Tracey has the IT ability to post it, and bring it up, I just need my fix of soft melodic female voice, the one you salivate over?. Tracey, can you pleaase myself, and my celeb winner of 10 to follow please? put us out of our collective misery please.

In fact Grassy, I'm sure if I ask politely enough, Tracey can also bring up the 'flashing blade', and the Crusoe theme, though I suspect the one you're after is the closing credits, which is currently on a loop in my local pub. You see N, these things happen in Oxford and not in Edinburgh :D

"You've got to fight for you want
For all that you believe etc"

Late 30's people please adjoin

Tracey please :D

Whilst I'm sticking Grassys request through Trcaey, Can I ask you to find a few more of mine own please if poss? On the subject of films?

Good Bad and the Ugly
and The Thomas crown affair

Cheers

I've cracked white horse now myself :D If that sounds self congratulatory, you've got to remember I'm an IT illiterate. The others though, I haven't sourced? Oh and put Grasshopper out of his misery with the flashing blade please, or failing that, just put Grasshopper out of his misery. :D

How do you post a music link, I wanted to try and test it the other day, and asked, but I suspect those of you fearful and knowledgable erred on the side of no response = no chance of it becoming a habit

I'm still trying to come to terms with all this, and am failing badly, though occasionally suceed in downloading something, those as yet haven't worked out how to save it to a CD

I've got a copy of the single of original Thomas Crown Affair theme -would that be worth anything? (Actually it's my sister's but she's not having it! )

I used to love White Horses -the first link doesn't work :(
and used to love Little House On The Prairie. Yes I know, sappy sappy puke sappy.

Grasshopper - you have made my year! Persauders, Champions, The Avengers, Mission Impossible, Robin Hood, Man From UNCLE (boy that sounds dated)...happy, happy memories from almost further back than I can remember!
World At War music still makes the hair on the back of my neck stand on end too.

Much as though it sticks my throat to admit it - Well done to theGrasshopper for digging these out :D :P

Fanbloodytastic :D I feel like a seven year old again

"Get up with the get-a-long gaa a aa aaaa aaa aaa ang

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar

gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang

get up"

Oh Crikey - I never appreciated the brilliance of what Grassy posted by way of archive.

I'm sorry Tracey, much as though I think the theme tune was beautiful, I certainly thankyou for that, as I'd been after it for years secretly without daring to admit it, the programme was..... I can I say this politely, not exactly aimed at young lads from a largeish city

and for lovers of black horses. This is my absolute fav movie clip of all time.
Film Clip
You've got some romantic ideas about horses there Tracy. The last black one I encountered up close, tried to mow me down with some baton wielding 'neo con' on top of it.
