Stayed that well enough off what looked a very strong pace.
Chuffed for the Moores - don't ever recall so many jockeys applauding the winner in.

Yes. Very much so and perhaps being a sort of local stable and a horse I've followed and really enjoyed, was great to be there. What this great game is all about. And a nice price too really
 
Great race - Sir de Grugy putting the Cheltenham hoodoo to bed in style , Somersby running an absolute blinder with his new front running tactics , Sizing Europe running a wonderful race till his old legs got a bit tired from the last .

One thing not a surprise despite Ruby and Mullins denying it Arvika L jumping badly right and falling in a heap as predicted .

He made an absolute howler about 5 out - a proper jolting mistake where he dropped his back legs onto the fence - which seemed to knock the stuffing out of him. It was only between that and being pulled up I noticed him start to jump badly right again.
 
I agree - I was watching him quite closely and i was suprised that he wasn't jumping right until then.

Lovely horse - it's a shame, but he hardly needs to prove himself!!

Great result for the public-I have never had money on him but SDG and the story surrounding him is great.
Sizing Europe has experienced so much at Cheltenham-victory and defeats -honorable,unlucky and headscratching.That was a nice way to round off his festival career.
Arvika L was always going to run like that -nobody with a pair if eyes in their head should be surprised.
