Road To The Epsom Derby

I liked the way Indian Chief won at Leopardstown today-there was something very Montjeuish about his performance.I will be interested to hear APOB's comments and future plans.
 
Persepolis would bring back memories of another age; 82 he was 4th was it not?

Just checked that Pretender won in 1869 and Pretendre just beaten by Charlottown in 1966.

Not Yves St martin's finest hour - Persepolis . Lester had ridden the horse to win the Prix Lupin but was claimed for Simply Great who went wrong a week before the race.
