Road To The Mares Hurdle

Mullins and Walsh have had some day. The Mullins stable must be planning a big night for Friday, they have no entries at all for Saturday's two meetings in Ireland.
 
Just cant keep that man Mullins down fantastic day and an even better one for anyone selling Guinness.

May only be a mares race but she's emulated Golden Miller with 5 on the trot and that's fantastic by anyone's standards

She gave the odds on backers a scare but did it in the end

?? Mare blocked off and stumbled at a crucial stage as the field started to quicken, he didn't panic and got her on a perfect stride at every hurdle.

If that's a bad ride, give me a bucketful of them.

Not many jocks would have kept the cool and patiently ride through the field after that stumble.
Star quality.
 
I was in the middle of congratulating Bar as they were turning in - thankfully I got to delete it before I looked a total idiot !!

Lovely mare, shame they wouldnt put her in the World, but then if it aint broke, why fix it. Fab stuff :D

I disagree. She was no further back than in previous years and was tacking nicely onto the back of the leading pack when she was impeded. Without that she would have quickened through the field smoothly, as per.
 
Roar of the day and how she charged up that hill rendering me hoarse in the process ! blinding run by the underrated French mare who was given a fine ride too
