Road to the Mares' Hurdle

I do too. I've been contemplating it for a while and you've tipped me over. Easy cover by adding Benie into the alternative doubles nrnb for singles on two horses that win anyway.

From WM's stable recent stable tour item on the ATR site:

At this stage it looks like we’ll go straight to the Cheltenham Festival with her. The new mares’ chase has been in my mind for her all along, but I think we’ll have to consider the Mares’ Hurdle too. That will be a decision to make much closer to the time.

Why are they considering the hurdle? Because she had a setback. If the horse was dead Wille wouldn't say it.

Elimay just gave the second 12lbs and smashed her. 3/1 for the Mares Chase is madness.

Unreal price.
Only reason she’s not odds on is because theres 3 horses in the market who won’t even run here. (Wouldn’t beat her anyway)

Anyone looking to build multis from here on in, the multis should be built around Elimay for the price she is.

Not about the mares hurdle I have the 2 fas in the 2nd leg of os an acc
.its the CH one minute she fav for the mares next she drifts to 3rd fav theb suddenly shes ch fav and mares fav absolute nonsense

Thanks Luke. I do listen. I was told she's out.

So when I'd only just been told by a reliable source with links to the yard, that they are still trying to get her there, which suggests they themselves don't know whether they will have her ready in time or not, I think it's probably a good idea to ask for clarification when someone else states it as a fact? Even moreso when it turns out it's not.

For example if it were correct I'd take the bet suggested above your post in a heartbeat, and had been contemplating it based on any kind of update on Benie anyway. So far, in addiiton to what I'd been told only a few days earlier, there hasn't been a hint of a drift on Benie from PP in either of the two Mares races, and if it was a sure thing she was out PP would be seeing if they could attract money. Plus Slim has also now clarified to say that she's not out, he's just been given a slightly different version of them racing against time than the version I was given.

There's a big difference between 'she's out', which is she has definitely been been ruled out and won't make it, or they're facing a race against time that they may or may not win. Particualarly when she's such a big player, and the yes or no will have such a fundamental inpact on two markets. Right now any decision is a bet or a lay on a coin toss.

You can shove this up your hole...

The gas bit of this saga was people confusing themselves by looking at betfair etc, just effin listen to slim.

I'll only thank you if the Concertista/Elimay double comes in Slim, otherwise it was a mildly useful piece of information that somehow still cost me money :D
