Gee, you gotta admire the Guy,what drive and what a great talent.Honest as well.

Very unusual these days.

Fantstic programme/program

Falls into the category of " entertainer " - i.e not much good at anything but lots of people seem to be entertained by him . His swing album was appalling for a start when that concert was on i had to rush back to Frank Sinatra

His record sales and his live attendance figures suggest that your opinions,in this case are wide of the mark.

It's ok not to like him,but to say that he is a buffon and talentless requires that you bo look at your situation.
:D

Ardross.
you are at an age when you can only remember what happened ...........

It's called dotage, and the front of your pants are covered in it. :D

What was that about ? If you like Robbie Williams fine - you seem constitutionally incapable of taking a different point of view to somebody else without personal abuse - please stop it

I agree with Paul. Have never been able to stomach the lad.
Rival, I think the difference being one is a resident of this forum, the other is a talentless buffoon :D

Ardross,
grow up,if you rubbish all my postings, expect to get the same in return.

The point that you constantly fail to understand is that I may disagree with and rubbish your postings but I do not rubbish you .

I have noticed that you adopt the same approach with a lot of contributors on here . I wonder whether this was why you were banned from TRF ?

I for one am getting more than a little sick of your sniping and abuse - remember what you signed up to when you joined this forum .

Oh,this only applies to me then

I am sure that i can come up with around 150 postings worse than any of my alleged abusive ones.

:)

Ah,
GARY BARLOW.

The lad that is now making millions as a song writer, who just recently got together with DONNY OSMOND and wrote/arranged the songs for his new album.

I'm afraid my other half is a big ran of the "Robster", as he is known. The man has received considerable media attention not only on C4 but also on most of the music-oriented satellite channels such as VH1 and Magic.

The last two probably speak volumes about the dilemma the poor lad is in. Both VH1 and Magic are aimed at the 30-something audience which has the money. As he's not Eminem, channels like MTV don't want to know.

The Greatest Hits CD and the book will doubtless sell by the truckload but unfortunately for Robbie, the world has moved on and, rather like Emma Bunton, "nice" music isn't fashionable.

I have to confess my two favourite Robbie tracks are "Feel" and "Let Love Be Your Energy"

I like 'Ode to Teacher' (along with most of his other stuff)
/cue cries of what is that then/
lister to the last track of the first album, and skip past the 15 minutes of silence to find it :)

Anyway - surely everyone likes 'Angels'?

I sit and wait,
Does an angel contemplate my fate?
And do they know,
The places where we go when we're grey and old?
So I have been told,
That salvation lets their wings unfold,
So when I'm lying in my bed,
Thoughts running through my head,
And I feel that love is dead,
I'm loving angels instead.

And through it all,
She offers me protection,
A lot of love and affection,
Weather I'm right or wrong.
Down the waterfall,
Wherever it may take me,
I know that life won't break me.
When I come to call,
She won't forsake me.
I'm loving angels instead.

When I'm feeling weak,
And my pain walks down a one-way street,
I look above,
And I know I'll always be blessed with love,
And as the feeling grows,
She brings fleash to my bones,
And when love is dead,
I'm loving angels instead.

And through it all,
She offers me protection,
A lot of love and affection,
Weather I'm right or wrong.
Down the waterfall,
Whever it may take me,
I know that life won't break me.
When I come to call,
She won't forsake me.
I'm loving angels instead.

30+ something or not, he's never done it for me... I suppose some of his songs are OK but there's no real originality or brilliance about the bloke - just competent and 'safe' as far as I'm concerned!

More of a David Gray woman, m'self!!
